Frequently Asked Questions.
Where are you located?
Our workshop is behind the new Storage King at Woonona. Follow the long driveway to the end until you see a car park and a bunch of workshops. We are located in the back row of workshops – you’ll see the Australian Tinting sign. For directions you can search for us in Apple or Google maps.
How long does it take?
For cars, most jobs are done within two hours of drop off. For unusual vehicles or if there is existing tint to be removed, the job will likely take longer.
For residential and commercial jobs the time varies, and we always work as fast as we can.
What is nano carbon ceramic technology?
For the majority of installations we use the latest nano carbon ceramic technology which greatly increases the performance and durability of window tint while providing clearer visibility. It’s better than traditional carbon tint in every way possible. Ask us about available options.
What's the difference between UV rays and infrared heat?
You’ve probably heard of performance indicators such as UV rays and infrared heat. So here’s the lowdown:
- UV rays are radiation produced by the sun. They cannot be felt on the skin and do not generate heat. However, they are responsible for skin cancers and premature fading of materials such as leather and carpets. All our ranges of window tint block 99% of UV rays.
- Infrared heat is the heat felt from the sun and the reason your car, home or commercial space warms up. The level of heat rejection depends on the type of window tint you choose, with higher priced options reflecting higher performance. Ask us about available options.
